Biography
A brilliant counterpuncher and strategist, Salvador Sánchez won the WBC Featherweight Title in 1980 and defended it nine times before his tragic death in a car accident at age 23. His victories over Wilfredo Gómez and Azumah Nelson cemented his immortality.
